(a) This privacy policy pertains to the use

and www.ammopages.com
(‘the Site’) and the materials available
therein (‘the Materials’) by the
website user (‘the User’).
(b) Ammunition Pages (‘the Administrator’)
administers the Site and controls the provision
of the Materials therein.
(c) This Privacy Policy explains how the User’s
personal information is collected, used, maintained
and disclosed by the Administrator. This Privacy
Policy is incorporated into and subject to the
Terms and Conditions.
(d) Personal Information means information
or an opinion (including information or an opinion

or not, about a User whose identity is apparent,

1. Collection of the User’s Personal

where it is needed to enable the Administrator
to provide its services to the User.
1.2. Unlawful or unreasonably intrusive methods
will not be used by the Administrator to collect
Personal Information and where reasonable and
practicable any Personal Information will be
collected directly from the User.
1.3. The Administrator may require the User
to provide Personal Information if the User
would like to participate in some activities
available on, or benefit from, services offered
on the Site.
1.4. Personal Information may also be obtained
by the User’s completion of a ‘Contact
Us’ form provided on the Site. Any
comments or material provided to the Administrator
either by way of the ‘Contact
Us’ form or in some other manner (including

and sales of all or substantially all of the
Administrator’s assets.
2. Use of Personal Information Collected
2.1. The Administrator uses the User’s
Personal Information collected on the Site primarily
for the following purposes:-
2.1.1. Providing and enhancing the Site’s

2.1.2. Direct marketing by means of alerting
the User to product updates, special offers,
updated information and other news services
from the Administrator or to forward promotional
materials, if requested by the User;

2.2. If the User chooses to provide the Administrator
with Personal Information on this Site, the
Administrator may transfer that information

providers, across borders and from the User’s
country or jurisdiction to other countries or
jurisdictions around the world. By using the
Site, the User consents to any such transfer
of Personal Information outside of the User’s

herein;
2.4.3.5. It is necessary to assist the Administrator
in its provision of services to the User.
3. Use of Non-Personal Information
Collected
3.1. The Administrator uses non-Personal Information
such as demographic data to analyse and develop
marketing strategies and to determine how the
User found the Site, the User’s interests
regarding the Administrator’s products
and services and how to further improve the
Site based upon User data.
3.2. Non-Personal Information of the nature
referred to in subparagraph 3.1 herein may be
shared with third parties.
4. Opt-Out
4.1. The Administrator provides the User the
opportunity to exercise an opt-out choice if
the User does not want to receive emails from
the Administrator or updates regarding new services
and products offered on the Site or if the User
does not want the Administrator to share Personal
Information with third parties.
4.2. The opt-out choice may be exercised at
the points where Personal Information is collected
by un-ticking the appropriate box.
4.3. If the User does not have access to exercise
the opt-out option at the point where Personal
Information is collected the User may also opt-out
by contacting the Administrator.
4.4. The Administrator will process the ‘opt-out/unsubscribe’
as soon as possible, but the User must be aware
that in some circumstances the User may receive
additional messages while the ‘opt-out/unsubscribe’
is being processed.
5. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
5.1. The Administrator uses ‘cookies’
and other tracking technologies.
5.2. A ‘cookie’ is a small text

about Site activity. For example, when someone

machine (if the User accepts cookies) or is
read if the User has visited the Site previously.

may choose to block cookies from the User’s

to re-enter their original user ID and password

be of interest to the User.

The Administrator has no control or influence

7. Access to the User’s Personal
Information
7.1. The Administrator provides the User with
an opportunity to access the User’s Personal
Information to ensure it is correct, accurate
and current.
7.2. The User is obliged to update any changes
to their Personal Information as soon as practicable.
7.3. To edit Personal Information, the User
must go to My
Profile and follow the instructions.
7.4. Some services offered on the Site may
collect information that is not accessible via

Profile. In such cases, the User can access
their Personal Information by contacting the
Administrator in accordance with clause 11 herein.
The Administrator undertakes to respond to any
such request within a reasonable time period.
8. Consent
8.1. The User acknowledges that until such
time as the User ceases to use the Site, they
expressly permit the Administrator to maintain,
use and disclose the User’s Personal Information
in accordance with this policy.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
9.1. The Administrator reserves the right to
change this Privacy Policy from time to time,
without notice or forewarning.

10.1. The Administrator endeavours to take

10.2. The Administrator does not warrant or

10.3. The Administrator will take all reasonable
steps to destroy or permanently de-identify
all Personal Information upon receipt of notice
from the User that the User intends to permanently
cease using the Site and terminate any subscription
